WHAT IS REISHI
Reishi or Lingzhi is a name describing a group of medicinal mushrooms that look similar to Ganoderma lucidum. When we are talking about Reishi we mean Ganoderma lucidum.
Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum) is a woody, hard, red medicinal mushroom that grows off dead or dying trees.
WHY AN EXTRACT?
Why cant I just eat the mushroom? Well unfortunately mushrooms are made of chitin & our bodies struggle to break down chitin & extract all the goodies from the mushrooms(this is why you have to cook mushrooms) & Reishi specifically is like eating a extremely bitter piece of wood.
When making extracts, Eusporia uses a sequential triple extraction process just to get all the beneficial compounds out, this allows us to do a cold extraction to get all the fragile beneficial compounds out as well as later also do a high temp/pressure extraction so that we can get all the more stubborn medicinal compounds out to. Then we go through a filtering process to remove the unwanted chitin. That way the end result is a pure extract tincture.
IS REISHI PSYCHEDELIC?
No! Even though psychedelic mushrooms have incredible therapeutic and stress relieving powers, they are still very illegal and luckily, there are other mushrooms, like Reishi, that can also help aid with stress and anxiety relief that are completely legal
HOW LONG DOES AN EXTRACT JAR LAST?
Each jar is full of 60 dual extract capsules & a dose is 2 capsules daily, so each jar is 1 month supply.
WHEN DO I TAKE MY REISHI EXTRACT?
We recommend that you take Eusporias Reishi extracts in the evenings, early evening if you are wanting Reishi to help you unwind after a stressful day or closer to when you want to sleep, in the last glass of water or tea before bed, this in our experience is the most effective and fastest acting method using of Reishi to improve you sleep.
If you are using the Reishi extracts for anxiety the you can experiment with taking it at different times during the day BUT our Cordyceps or Lions Mane extracts may be better suited for Morning & Early afternoon uses.
